These include torus, ogee, chamfered (beveled), pencil round and lamb’s tongue.

Skirting:

Mahogany Veneer Skirting
Mahogany veneer is a thin strip of real wood mahogany which disguises an ordinary MDF skirting board. More affordable than buying mahogany skirting boards outright. As MDF boards dont warp, this is a practical and affordable way to improve your home. The veneer will give the illusion of thick rich mahogany for your home.
Available in a variety of styles covering;
- Torus
- Ogee
- Ovolo
- Chamfered
- Rounded

MDF Skirting
Medium density fiberboard, or MDF, is a composite wood product similar to particleboard. It's made out of wood waste fibers glued together with resin, heat, and pressure. MDF is appropriate for many applications, from cabinetry to moulding, because it is smooth, uniform, and won't warp.
MDF has many advantages
over plank wood, particleboard, or high density fiberboard. It's very
smooth because the wood fibers used in its manufacture are uniform and
fine.
This also means that a
coat of primer and a couple of coats of paint take well, leaving an attractive, finished surface unlike other composite wood products. MDF also has a mild reaction to moisture, meaning it won't warp or swell in high-humidity applications like a bathroom cabinet.
MDF products are also knot and defect free. All in all a convenient and economical alternative to timber mouldings.
Available in a variety of styles including;
- Torus
- Ogee
- Ovolo
- Chamfered
- Rounded

Pine Skirting Boards
When it comes to skirting boards there are all kinds of materials to choose from. There are woods, wood laminates and even plastic skirting. One of the more popular choices is that of pine skirting. Part of this is because the pine is not that expensive and it is very versatile. You want to choose a type of wood that allows you to do lots of different things with it so that you are sure you can make the skirting boards work in a room no matter what the decor might be. There are a few things to keep in mind though as you choose your pine boards for your home.
Available in a variety of styles including
- Torus
- Ogee
- Ovolo
- Chamfered
- Rounded
|

Red Deal Skirting
Red Deal is a softwood made from Scots Pine. One of the most popular woods used today.
Even though it is a softwood it has good strength characteristics for its weight. It’s high quality finish and aestheticly pleasing appearance make it a good timber for use in internal and furniture construction. This means that a
coat of primer and a couple of coats of paint take well, leaving an attractive, finished surface.
Available in a variety of styles including;
- Torus
- Ogee
- Ovolo
- Chamfered
- Rounded

Walnut Veneer
Most of the time, a table, skirting board or any other furniture piece will only
look great when they are coated and covered with a layer of veneer. Their main role is to provide an attractive appearance to your skirting board piece. These coated materials are extracted from quality and fine
wood. The piece is contained with beautiful and sophisticated wood stain
and texture. The layer is also great in terms of protection for your skirting board.
Available in a variety of styles covering;
- Torus
- Ogee
- Ovolo
- Chamfered
- Rounded

White Oak Skirting
Oak skirting boards are really popular for a few reasons – oak is a
hardwood and therefore can resist the daily wear and tear. It’s also a
really stunning wood – oak is very rarely painted over because of its
beautiful grain and colour.
A varnish will look after the wood for a long time and show it to its
best advantage. It’s also versatile – it will suit contemporary living
as well as a traditional home.
Available in a variety of styles including;
- Torus
- Ogee
- Ovolo
- Chamfered
