Types of Conservatories

Lean to conservatories (Sunrooms and Studio Rooms)

These Conservatories are usually rectangular with a roof that leans on to the main property (hence their name).They have clean, simple lines giving them a modern, uncomplicated look and making them suitable for a wide range of house styles.Ideal choice for bungalows.

Victorian Conservatory

Victorian Conservatory is one of the most popular style of conservatories.It has a steeply pitched roof and have an ornate detailing along the roof's centre apex (called the ridge).They usually have 3 or 5 panel facets.

Georgian or Edwardian Conservatories

The Georgian or Edwardian Conservatories is similar to the Victorian Conservatory.The main difference is that they are flat fronted where as the Victorian has an angular front.These conservatories are the ideal choice if you do not wish to detract from the visual impact of the main property.

Gable Conservatory

These type of conservatory works well on older type; these are houses that have a square floor plan.There are vertical rather than sloping front roof section, this maximises the feeling of light and space inside.

Lantern Roof Conservatory

These are a large type of conservatory.They add a feeling of height in the conservatory.The use of glass instead of polycarbonate will increase light levels.

P-Shaped or B-Shape Conservatory

P-Shaped Conservatory is suitable for a larger building such as a two storey house.
