Guttering
Design Features:
Guttering and Downpipes
Guttering is a shallow channel set immediately below and along the eaves of a building to catch and carry off rainwater from the roof. The main purpose of a rain gutter is to protect a building's foundation by channelling water away from its base. Guttering also helps to reduce erosion and prevent leaks in basements and crawlspaces. There are different styles of gutter, known as profiles – the three standard profiles are: - Half-round
- Square
- K-style (or Ogee) - a moulded pattern with a flat back
Guttering is available in the following colours: white, black, brown, red, green, blue, pale gold, sable, storm grey, dark grey; plus the following wood grain finishes: light oak, mahogany, rosewood, cedar wood and black ash.
