Passive House Construction
The general definition of the Passive House is a limited heating energy demand of around 15 kWh/m2 treated floor area for heating and around 120 kWhprimary/m2 treated floor area for space heating, domestic hot water (DHW) and all other electrical equipment combined.To meet this criterion, the Passive House concept focuses first and foremost on reducing the energy demand of the building. Consequently attention is directed at high efficiency of energy use.
